The "Pursuing Dreams in Zhuhai, Fulfilling Dreams in the Greater Bay Area (GBA)" 2025 Summer Vocational Internship Camp for Taiwanese Youth Concludes Successfully

Zhuhai, August 4 (Taiwan.cn)—The closing ceremony of the "Pursuing Dreams in Zhuhai, Fulfilling Dreams in the Greater Bay Area (GBA)" 2025 Summer Vocational Internship Camp for Taiwanese Youth took place in Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin on August 2. Forty Taiwanese students from several prestigious universities successfully completed their internship and exchange activities lasting for more than 20 days.

At the closing ceremony of the internship camp, an intern representative reported on the achievements of this camp and shared personal experiences throughout the activity. All participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Bureau of Zhuhai, as well as Huacan Workshop (Zhuhai) Technology Co., Ltd., for their arrangements and hospitality.

 

All the Taiwanese students thought, the program is rich in content and highly professional. They gained a deep understanding of the achievements in the economic and social development of the Mainland through the internship. Many stated that, upon returning to Taiwan, they would share their experiences and observations with friends. Meanwhile, they hope there will be more opportunities to intern and work in the Mainland in the future.

 

Mr. Lai, who is interning at Zhuhai Doumen Finance and Investment Holding Co., Ltd., said “This valuable internship experience has contributed to my growth in ways that go far beyond my professional field. During my time in Zhuhai, the experience of living independently, interacting with people from different backgrounds, and personally witnessing at the dynamic development of the GBA have all been unforgettable aspects of my journey.”

An official from the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Bureau of Zhuhai stated that recently, Zhuhai has built exchange platforms which supported Taiwanese youth in interning and finding employment here. The bureau will, as always, providing service guarantees for Taiwan youth coming to Zhuhai for internships and employment. It is hoped that more Taiwan compatriots will pay attention to Zhuhai's development, participate in Cross-Strait exchanges, and jointly contribute to "Cross-Strait cultural exchanges".
